Compact voltage reducers produce a constant 13.6V from a 24V, negative ground power supply suitable for lamps, small motors and electronic loads (e.g., radios).
In addition to the switched output there is a constant output for preserving radio memory.
SMF5 and SMF8 units are protected against reverse-polarity connection along with voltage spikes and surges. In addition, the output is protected against short circuit, overloads and connection to 24V.
- 24V DC to 13.6V DC
- Can be wired to be ignition-switched or not
- Compact size for installation in tight spaces
- Short circuit and overload protection that auto-resets on fault removal
- Current limiting at 110% of normal rating
