Mounting a SBI unit

Hi
Does anyone know why a Redarc unit can not be mounted vertically ? My previous unit was mounted horizontally but this application has an easir spot to use but would make it be placed on it's side.Any comments appreciated, Cheers SK |

Hi Stephen,
Redarc actually recommend mounting the unit vertically (with the main body of the unit straight up and the mounting base on a horizontal plane), or horizontally (with the mounting base vertical). The only mounting method that we do not recommend is mounting the unit upside down, this may cause incorrect operation of the unit. Click here for more info. |
